Helping replenish the water supply
One-sixth of the world's population-over 1 billion people-doesn't have access to safe drinking water. And about 2.6 billion people don't have adequate sanitation. This leaves billions more vulnerable to disease and food insecurity. So while our commitment to water may begin at the bottling line, it continues into the communities we rely on.
That's why we work closely with our supply chain, local communities, governments and non-government organizations to replenish water to nature and communities.
Since 2005 we've been involved in more than 250 community water partnerships in 70 countries. These include local initiatives like watershed protection, expanding drinking water and sanitation access, improving the efficiency of agricultural water use and education and awareness programs.
